Technology
TOOLS
Advancements that allow us to do more and achieve better results simply by using better tools. Technology is the result of applying scientific knowledge using engineering principles.
Engineering
SOLUTIONS
Designing and building solutions to meet a human need. This process requires the application of scientific and mathematical knowledge.
Art
BEAUTY
Creation for its own sake without the need to have a purpose other than self expression and prompting the reaction of viewers. One of the purest forms of creativity.

IDEAS
WHERE DO IDEAS COME FROM?
Imagination
THE TRUE SIGN OF INTELLIGENCE
IS NOT KNOWLEDGE BUT
IMAGINATION.
-Albert Einstein
As technology continues to advance at a greater and greater pace we really only have one advantage over computers and that is our imaginations. Using only our minds we are able to envision what things might be and we can create new ideas. In order to embrace this ability to innovate we must value imagination and all that it can do.
HAPPINESS LIES IN THE JOY OF ACHIEVEMENT AND THE THRILL OF CREATIVE EFFORT.
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
Some people feel that creativity is a fixed trait. That some people are born creative while overs are not. The truth is that creativity is something that we all can learn and just like any other skill we can only improver it through practice. The more we think of ideas that are deliberately unique the more creative we will become.
WE BELIEVE THAT IDEAS ONLY BECOME GREAT WHEN THEY ARE CHALLENGED AND TESTED.
-Ed Catmull, PIXAR
There has been some debate over whether the creative process is more successful as an individual or in a group setting. A community of people working towards creative innovation allows makers to share and build on each others ideas to end up with some of the most unique new creations.
